This is one of the few books that actually teaches background information and how to make songs out of rolls. It also teaches the chords to the songs in the beginning so that you can play along with others immediately. I think this book starts out easy enough that most...

anyone could understand it and be able to play. The only person this book would not be suitable for would be someone who has a lot of background musical experience with other instruments and is a very fast learner.
