    Difficulty Level:
  • May 15, 2008 Lovely easy pieces for solo/accompanied cello

Delightful pieces from Bach for solo or unaccompanied cello that should please the beginning cellist. This collection has clearly printed staves and some helpful fingering notation. It is well graded and should delight lovers of Bach and of the cello. Lift out music for the accompanist (piano).

Good pieces. Pretty easy to perform in second position. Some become a bit more challenging if you shift to avoid open string A's. Piano accompaniment is nicely written and complements the pieces nicely.

Being a student myself and having used thus book, I would say this is a wonderful book. It was one of my first books ever so it is pretty easy. Some of the intimidating at first, but I loved it! :)
