    For the recorder, pieces are short and a bit too easy for an intermediate level of difficulty. I can't give my opinion on the guitar part as I don't play guitar. By the way the arrangements are suited for a soprano recorder which is rare for ancient music...

    I play recorder, so I'm not qualified to rate this book for guitar, but I found the selection delightful (mostly well-known pieces, including the air in G and Jesu, Joy... ) The arranger gives helpful notes on ornamentation and fingering. The guitar arrangements look to be very complementary to...

    the recorder part. I can't wait to play these with my brother who is a guitarist. If he has comments, I will be sure to add them.

    We found the variety of Bach pieces and the arrangements extremely satisfying both for guitar and recorder. A great addition to our collection.

    The pieces in this collection would be a good challenge for a talented music student in the lower grades to perform. I personally consider it a worthwhile purchase.
