By Miniature Men. By Henry Mancini. Arranged by John Gibson. Film/TV. 13 pages. JB Linear #3007661. Published by JB Linear (A0.581879).

Baby Elephant Walk by Henry Mancini from the Paramount picture HATARI!. This happy tune is set for 5 flutes and includes a part for Alto Flute with an alternate 5th C flute part. There is also an optional Bass Flute part included. The story goes that this part of the motion picture was unplanned and not in the script, but when they noticed that there were 3 young elephants who took a liking to Liza Minelli and followed her around, they used the idea and Henry Mancini wrote this very popular tune just for that scene. The setting is by John Gibson.
