  • April 02, 2007 Accurate and difficult

Don't listen to other people who are labeling this book as beginner or intermediate. This is difficult stuff. The rhythm isn't too bad, most people can play that, but most of the solos a beginner or intermediate player will not be able to play. That said, this book...

is still worth your while, you can always play the solos at half speed and eventually try to play them faster and faster. You won't regret buying this.

  • November 08, 2006 Wanna learn some hard solo's?

I love Avenged Sevenfold...I didnt get into them until last year when I heard "Beast and the Harlot" for the first time...I was completely blown away by their unique style...this album sounds nothing like any other hard rock album that has came out this decade....these are...

tough solo's and even the rhythym guitar is pretty tough...you don't see many bands with a kick ass rhythym guitarist these days. Good luck learning all the lead though..

  • September 25, 2006 LOVE IT

I'm so glad i bought this book. I am a big fan of Avenged Sevenfold and now i can play every song from City of Evil. It has every guitar part, its easy to read and is great practise for lead and rhythm playing. It definately made me a...

better guitar player, as i got the motivation to try hard because they are songs I know by people i aspire to play like one day. Definately buy this book, whatever level of guitar you are capable of. Money won't be wasted.
