Excellent for learning to add your own chords to a melody.Would be independent work for intermediate player and might need teacher supervision for early intermediate.Very comprehensive .

This was my second lever harp book, and it is a marvelous resource that I will be learning from and turning to for years. My only negative comment is that the music in the songs is done in a "hand done" style. I wish the songs themselves had been printed...

in a more polished manner. But they are still legible, easy to read and play. The theory is made very simple, and clear melodic examples given for each. There is plenty here just to play, or to work with as your arranging skills progress, so it operates well on several levels.
