A cycle of unaccompanied songs for solo voice, framed between two orchestral pieces, this release celebrates the 80th birthday of Aribert Remann. Remann rewrote this cycle of poems for orchestra without the voice, which resulted in Nine Pieces. This cycle took an entirely different direction than the nine poems originally.
