  • April 12, 2008 Love this piece.

I'm currently playing this piece for festival, and let me tell you it is difficult! Not rhythmically, but musically! I'm in high school still, and I recommend it to anyone who's willing to work very hard on this. I know I have!

This song is soo incredible! The song is not techniqual. You must master vibrato to play this piece. It is the prettiest song I have ever played and probably will ever play.

  • October 25, 2006 One of the greats

This song is very easy technically speaking. But musically, it's one of the hardest pieces you will play. It is integral to the song that you use full range of dynamics and be a master at vibrato. Without the musical technique, it is just a bunch of notes. With...

it, this piece is simply put, amazing. One of the greats.

  • October 30, 2005 Great for a lifetime

This is a great piece for the aspiring concert/festival player. The interesting thing is that it can be pulled out over a lifetime and still serve as a great exercise in control, phrasing, and vibrato for all.

  • March 28, 2004 Great Standard repertoire

Everyone playing concert saxophone has played this piece. It is a solid piece for the intermediate player. Consider for high school age players.
