  • March 31, 2010 Boring secondo parts

I bought this music with high hopes of playing Webber's wonderful songs with my friend, an early intermediate pianist. But the music was too difficult for her to read -- and WAY TOO BORING for anyone playing the "secondo" part. There was absolutely no incentive to practice. Good duet arrangements...

should have an interplay of melody, and interesting music for both parts!

Beautiful songs, but the arrangements lacked creativity and richness. Endings just died. Would love to see an advanced intermediate or early advanced duet book with these songs.

Great for pianists who are are just beginning but having Primo and Secondo on the same page is utterly confusing and very hard to read. It is the first time I have seen duets presented in this way and I suggest the editors review the format.Your eyes have to...

roam all over the place and inevitably you end up playing the wrong line of music. Also fit more music on the page so there is less page turning. The tendency these days is to have large printed notes and spread them accross the bars.Depending on how you read this can be more difficult when you think and interpret in intervals and of course more page turns.

The music is easy to sight-read and is well balanced between the 2 parts.

  • July 14, 2008 Beautiful songs

These songs are easy enough to learn quickly, but sound fairly difficult and beautiful as duets!
