In 1737 he became the director of the Three Choirs Festival and wrote his Worcester Overture which later was published as Symphony #8. His music is lively and delightful and in some ways his music sounded more like Handel than Handel himself did. This setting for flute trio includes the last two movements: Andante and Gavotte.
