Beautiful music so spiritually uplifting, the choir loved it. I found your scriptural references challenging, they caused me to research and cross reference, which was exciting.

  • March 20, 2007 Not Scriptural

I sang this song in Church Choir and loved it, BUT, since then I have learned to check to be sure a song is scriptural before singing it. The references you give say nothing about God dancing over us. The closest you get is in Zephaniah 3:17 (not vs...

. 14)where it is said to Israel during Jesus' 1,000 yr. reign:"He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing." Psalm 34:2,4 says nothing on this subject, yet [the publisher] quotes this for [...] proof. This troubles me.
