  • September 08, 2006 Alot of wrong stuff

Espeically on the Blackened and Shortest Straw tabs. Come on, they say the whole song of Blackened has NO palm muting except for the middle slower part. My a--! Almost every Met song has serious palm muting. Alot of wrong notes in the Blackened tab also.

  • May 23, 2006 Use only as a partial reference

This book is horrible! It has so many mistakes in just about every song. As another reviewer said, the opening riff in Blackened is just completely wrong. And come on, E major chords in Harvester of Sorrow? Are you kidding me? The tab'ers should be ashamed of themselves. Use...

this book as a basic guide, but try to figure out some parts yourself.

"This book helped me understand what I needed to about playing Metallica, and yes it may get a bit confusing, but in the end, it's worth it."

  • August 19, 2005 good but, confusing in some parts

It is a good book but i dont think the "note for note transcriptions" is always right. but if you listen closely you can get it.
