I was a member of the choir that performed this piece on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in 2000. This entire cantata was challenging and very rewarding to learn. The first soprano part is VERY high, and many of our altos had difficulty reaching some of the notes. But...

in the end, it sounded amazing!
