    Difficulty Level:
  • July 30, 2008 Good value for the money

I've had a piano in the house for the last 30 years and figured now that I'm retired I have time to do something with it. I know where middle C is on the music and where middle C is on the piano so learning a song is...

just a matter of matching up the dots with the keys [and lots of practice]. I bought this book because it has several songs I really want to learn. It took me about a month to learn The Windmills Of Your Mind and my next project is The Rose. The book has very white paper and lots of white space making it easy to read, even the guitar chords. Difficulty ranges from early intermediate [e.g. High Noon] to intermediate/advanced [e.g. I've Got Rythm]. Most are int and int/adv. [I'd put The Windmills Of Your Mind in the early intermediate category] The binding appears substantial [no pages have fallen out yet]. Lots of good songs for a good price.
