Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Joel Jacklich (ASCAP). Christian,Classical,Sacred,Wedding. 21 pages. Joel Jacklich #2075287. Published by Joel Jacklich (A0.723066).

The Alleluja from Mozart’s motet "Exultate, jubilate", K. 165, was written in 1773 in Milan, Italy, for the famous castrato Venancio Rauzzini. It was scored for high voice, two oboes, two horns, strings and organ. I have reduced the score to soprano and string quartet. Most of the string parts are pretty much as Mozart wrote them with the exception of a few spots to cover the missing oboes and the spots where the soloist is independent of the original first violin part. (There is another version on my web site for strring quartet alonet.) The Alleluja has often been requested at weddings.
