  • September 08, 2008 Logical teaching aid for the modern keyboard player.

An excellent teaching aid for the pianist or keyboardist seeking to include blues, jazz and contemprary styles into his or her playing. Set out in a logical fashion, with pieces based on preceding exercises or teaching points. Also, as one of mature years whose eyesight is not what it was...

, the musical notation is of good size and easy to read.

  • November 27, 2007 Seriously.... just teach yourself

guess the idea is that you should think about chords and progressions as you play each song. I'd rather play a decent song instead. I've learned just as much about chords and progressions by playing easy arrangements of songs. The only thing nice I can say about the book is that the title seems to be spot-on. Skip buying this book and just teach yourself.

I started this course about a month ago and I am surprised how each day I look forward to practising. The CD is a great help. I would without hesitation recommend this course study.
