  • June 27, 2015 Amazingly fun!

My high school vocal ensemble sang this for our spring concert, and it was by far our favorite selection. If you have a smaller ensemble with more female singers than males, you may consider dividing the Soprano, Alto, and Tenor I parts equally among the females and the Tenor II...

, Bass I, and Bass II parts evenly among the males.

This arrangement was a little difficult to get started with a non-audition community choir, but having a little patience in the beginning was worth it. If's enjoyable to sing and to hear.

  • April 09, 2008 Africa like you've never heard it before

This song is very interesting in many ways.It uses many different percussion sounds to create a great affect with most of the melody sung by the baritone and 2nd tenors. While the other parts may look boring they in all reality are very interesting and amazing in their own...

light.I along with my fellow singers highly recommending adding this to your choral collection.

  • March 10, 2008 Great arrangement

This is a fun arrangement, by the King's Singers. It has great transition and is a lot of fun. It is amazing how good it sounds with voices. It is a little tricky on some of the rhythms, but all and all a good piece for somewhat experienced voices...

  • October 27, 2007 just perfect!

Africa is one of the best adaptions of the original in my portfolio. My youth-choir is more than motivated to work on this piece. There are a few really tough parts, e.g. the "key-solo" which is a little over the level we can do but thats is...

the way to get better! My advice: BUY!!! Cheers Ralf
