I have used this for several years in our annual Halloween concert. It is the last and most special piece on the program. It takes a LOT of work but we built a "closet door" we use every year and perform behind it. It is like a sheer fabric, and...

we jump out at the end once ONE child offers to "open" the door, and scare the kids with skeleton faces. They do not see us play. Our String Bass player is the highlight, so USE the bass part. He clacks his bow on the bass to sound like skeleton bones. I wore out the first copy, and had to get another one!

A great piece, incredibly fun and interesting, definitely a crowd winner!. The treatment of the diverse effects is somethig that you really have to see. It's not only written music, you really have to get out of your four strings and... let your phantom instincts out...
