For me it was easy since I have studied 24 years. My "audiences" just loved the selections and arrangements. Of course, Richard Clayderman is one of my favorites. Upon receiving the book I was able to play the selections almost immediately and share them with my various audiences.

What wonderful, somewhat jazzy arrangements of reverent & playful songs (about level 3-4) matching Clayderman's recordings! "Ave Maria" is Schubert’s great one. "O Tannenbaum Medley" includes "O Holy Night" & "He Was Born the Holy Child". Notes are seldom faster than 1/16 (moderate tempos) and if so, they...

’re in easy fingered long arpeggios -sometimes based on just 1 chord. I (age 54) have had 2 years of lessons & can play any of these with lots of work. I’ll do "Silent Night" at a Xmas recital after 3 months of work. Silent Night begins in 3/4 time, with frequent embellishments to the melody. Later the arrangement switches to 6/8 time giving it a much different feel. The L hand often plays 1/8 note arpeggios in this piece. Each verse ends in a long rising F-chord arpeggio (F-A-C & inversions). The arrangement wrings about everything it can out of the song and that's typical for all 9 songs. I hope to learn all 9 songs: what an impressive half hour concert that would make!
