  • December 05, 2011 Fun if you don't expect too much

The song selections here are fun and the arrangements are very straightforward - probably aimed at something for a junior/beginner quartet. Too brief and essentially basic for professional background work. A couple of numbers are duplicated in the Latham Music "Christmas Pops for String Quartet" - those are substantially better arrangements

  • October 21, 2007 Nice upbeat arrangements

"Let it snow" and "Winter Wonderland" are the best arrangements in the collection. This folio is worth having, just to have arrangements that aren't too "churchy" sounding for those Christmas party gigs. Very read-able, no tricky stuff or weird harmonies.
