I first heard Mr.Kern's Pachebel Christmas for full band and hoped there was an arrangement for solo solo key board when I found his simpler but charming version at She et music plus.

  • October 17, 2013 Great Teaching Tool!

I have used this piece for several students needing to transition from grade 2 to 3. It provides a challenge for the advanced beginner and puts them solidly in intermediate level music

This piece transitions from song to song nicely, I used it for the prelude to our church's christmas service. Everyone loved it, and want me to play it agian next year!

  • January 21, 2008 Very disappointing

When it says "carols" in the write-up about this, I expect Christmas carols, not "Up on the Houstop" and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". Somehow Pachebel and those titles just don't work well together. I had hoped to use this for a prelude at church - that's...

    not gonna happen!

It is a "fun" song. I was really wanting an arrangement using only Christmas Carols or Hymns as I play for Church Services. If someone knows of such an item, let me know.
