  • September 07, 2007 Great Piece!

At a jazz camp, my band played this. We had some difficulties, but after a couple days (one week jazz camp) we had a killer sound, with a killer B section to match! We had a little trouble at the end with the 16th notes accending to our corresponding notes...

, but overall, this was a really "kicking" chart. Great set opener, or closer.

  • December 28, 2006 Amazing Latin for Advanced Stage Bands

Michael Philip Mossman adds his own twist to an already great tune. Not to be attempted by anything but senior level advanced stage bands, this chart requirers an extremely strong Bari and Lead Alto player, a high range trumpet section and a band that can read as this chart deviates...

from what the band may want to play from memory. Great opener or second set opener!
