Choral (2-Part)
Composed by Don Besig and Nancy Price. Harold Flammer. General Repertory, Secular, General Repertory, Sacred, Piano Trax. 12 pages. Shawnee Press #E0435. Published by Shawnee Press (HL.35012170).

Item Number: HL.35012170

In a time when we hope and pray so fervently for peace, “A Kyrie for Our Time” calls our attention to solvable problems that have always been present. In a world so full of beauty and wonder...Children live in poverty and hunger. In a world so full of hope for tomorrow...Children live in sickness, pain, and sorrow. Kyrie eleison. A haunting melody, melancholy flute obbligato, and a shimmering descant make this lovely prayer an appropriate reminder of what our response should be each and every day of the year.

Our middle school chorus loves this song! It's for a bit of a high voice.
