    If you play along with the recorded songs, this book will not help because it's not a recorded versions book. But if you do have some classical guitar training, you might find your way to getting it to sound as the recorded version(s)(songs as recorded). I think...

    it's a pretty good beginner's book. It's great to remember a great legend like John Denver,either way.
