"A Heroic Journey" was composed for the brass quintet by Dean Boysen, a professional trumpeter, composer and arranger. This piece was written as a salute to his son's service in the USAF while serving abroad in the Mid East and in Europe. An opening fanfare by the trumpets is echoed by the horn and trombone. This motif is immediately followed by a determined melody of strength which flows effortlessly into the main theme. The music is energetic, dense and contemplative. It may be performed alone or along with "Fire and Ice" by the same composer. Thank you for your purchase consideration of this original music for brass quintet.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
