  • December 30, 2013 Good choice for church pianist

When I first got this book, I was somewhat uninspired. However, as the season progressed, I grew to like more and more of the pieces. The pieces are intermediate to late intermediate and can be worked up quickly. I used 4 of the pieces for various Christmas services and probably...

would have used a couple more (out of 9 pieces). That a success for ANY collection of piano solos. Highly recommend this book.

I was very happy with this book. I am an amateur pianist, over 60, and have played piano for about 50 years. I am sometimes leery of things marked "contemporary" because they use a lot of intervals that seem disharmonious to my ears. However, these arrangements are all very melodic...

and useable for the playing I do at my small, local church and the nursing home service.

I bought this for a "wedding gift" a friend that directs/plays for a church. I of course tried every song and was delighted with the arrangements...so bought myself a copy. Very nice!

  • October 28, 2009 Beautiful!

I picked this book up because of the titles of the songs that were in it. I had no idea just how beautiful the arrangements were going to be. I was pleasantly surprised and it is now a favorite of mine. I just passed it on to one of my...

students who fell in love with the arrangements as well. It is easy to read, challenging but with a little practice, easy to master for the early advanced student.
