Choir Secular (2-Part Choir)
Composed by Andy Beck and Derryl Herring. Choral Octavo. Choral Designs. Secular. Choral Octavo. 12 pages. Published by Alfred Music (AP.23539).

Item Number: AP.23539

Don't be fooled by the five-four meter of this original canon for 2-part voices, because it's amazingly simple to learn! Perhaps it's the lilting jazzy groove, the supportive piano part, or the well-crafted melody that make A Child of Song a cinch to sing and a pleasure to perform. Students will love this song about the music inside of them, and teachers will take pride in the sophisticated accomplishments of their young musicians! A jazzy flute and saxophone duet shines on the SoundTrax CD.
Recorded Acc. Available.

  • April 18, 2009 An AWESOME Song

This song is the best! We sang it in a all-county chorus recital! I memorized most of the song and so did other pianist that are in my chorus class!!! I think all chorus directors should show this song to thier chorus. I find myself humming the song.

I love this song, because it is easy to sing along to, and the harmonies are really nice
