    Difficulty Level:
  • March 19, 2008 A Piece for All Moods

This piece really is a beautiful compilation of accessible "modern" classical music. There is a work for each mood–from melancholy to etherial to fun and light-hearted. I really enjoyed playing these pieces, though they are for the late-intermediate to advanced player. Side note: You can visit the...

publisher's website (Jabez Press)to hear clips of the work first as well which really helped me understand the piece more.

    Difficulty Level:

This set is nice if you are looking for something that is easy for an audience to grasp. However, in terms of the music, there is so much better stuff out there. I would not spend too much time on this music. The problem is, the music itself seems to...

be trying to communicate an emotional level that Zaimont simply does not have the technique to bring to fruition. Some of them are charming and have their moments of humor or beauty, but overall, this set is not fulfilling for me.
