Published by Sean James Atkinson (S0.17116)."A Bowl of Blue Fruit" is a very tonal, straight-forward which acts as an etude designed to help with pull-offs. Beginning as the instrumental introduction to a song intended to have drums, electric bass and vocals, this simple guitar piece is one of my own favorite compositions. It developed into an etude of sorts after I was given the opportunity to play in a Master Class for Scott Tennant, who explained the importance of keeping the left hand straight while doing "pull-off" slurs.
