My Wife is a flautist, and we decided to try this - at the beginning on the modern flute and piano, and later, on the traverso and Clavinova harpsichord. We're working on it, and both find it to be excellent music, of varying degrees of difficulty (and for a varied taste, I should add). For me, as a trained pianist who had never really studied figured bass, this is an amazing adventure (and not an overwhelmingly impossible one, at that).
