Nice music. Shame about the quality.
I bought vols 1+2 partly so that I could try out new quintet music before buying it for my real-life quintet. And partly so that I could become brilliant at it before they hear me play:). There are a large number of errors in the sheet music. Most of them are quite straightforward to correct - missing rests; missing directions; incorrect keys (horn in E - not Eb). Most of this music is quite easy - perhaps grade 3-4 (UK). The accompaniment is musical but the sound quality is quite poor - it's an old recording and is quite hissy. But the pieces are pleasant to play along to. I would have appreciated some more challenging inclusions. Vol. 2 seems no more difficult than Vol. 1
