Western Fanfare

Couple of tricky licks to work out, but overall a nice piece. Good Americana type programming.

Rhythmically Challenging

4-5 minutes of Ewazen is a good thing

The Western Fanfare is just a taste of Ewazen's style. This piece is short enough to fit into any program, and makes a Brass Quintet sound exquisite. The price makes Western Fanfare the best investment I have ever made in sheet music.

Typical Ewazen

This is your typical Ewazen chart. it has its driving western moments and switches to lyrical at times. It's a nice and short little diddy. I give it four because it sounds like every other Ewazen piece.

Good concert starter!

Eric's music is fantastic. My quintet has used this piece to open a few concerts - you can never have enough fanfares. The themes will be in your head for days. Very obtainable for most high school players as well.
