Song that takes time and understanding
Our Top Women's Choir just finished this piece for a state wide competition and came in in the top few. It's a beautifully emotional piece, and can't be done correctly with out really understanding the meaning of the words. It really needs to be sang not only through words but...

Stunning!
I find David Childs to be my favorite composer still living. The song shows all that he really is a musical genius! I have met him on several occasions and he has worked with the chir I'm in. This song is truly amazing.

to a student in high school....
The song is VERY beautiful. Sadly, there are hard words in the piece(ex: paradice, weep, dry). I find this an amazing piece, i'm singing it in a big treble choir and the contrast in the volume makes it a very nice beginning piece to experiment with tonal quality and volume....

Amazing Song
