Nice book
I am not going to discuss Chopin himself as more learned people have done so. This version is part of the many books produced by the Schirmer's Library of Music Classics. I have several books from this collection ranging from Beethoven through Rachmaninoff to Chopin, all purchased through Sheet Music Plus. All the books are well made and use a clear font. With regard to this Chopin book, I am playing Valse No.7 and my only issue with this version is the fingering shown in bar 4 and the other bars that repeat. The fingering given makes it very hard to transition between the F sharp, G sharp and putting the 5th finger on the B natural. Otherwise, it is an excellent book which I warmly recommend as economical way of purchasing some of Chopin's Waltzes

Thanks
There is only one store in our entire area that carries sheet music and the selection is very limited. It was great to find your website and to be able to receive what I was looking for in such short order. I took classical piano lessons for ten years, but that was long before marriage, kids and grandkids. I was anxious to find some of the music I used to play such as the Chopin Waltzes. What fun to be able to sit down and play the music again, strictly for my own enjoyment.

Very Lovely
Chopin's waltzes are some of the loveliest, most graceful pieces he has composed. They are all very fun to play. I would say they are intermediate difficulty. They are a challenge to an amateur but once mastered, it's fun to show them off. As mentioned in this book, these waltzes are dances for the soul, not the body. So don't worry too much about making them danceable. I highly recommend this book of lovely glimpses of Chopin's brilliant heart and genius.

Missing is one particularly lovely waltz
The Chopin waltzes rate five stars but the Schirmer Library edition edited by Joseffy may not offer the best transcription in terms of dynamics, fingering, etc. Missing in this compilation is the lovely less known Waltz in A Minor introduced to me by my fabulous teacher,Merle.Don't miss out on learning the A Minor waltz if you love Chopin!

Fun to Play
These waltzes are so fun to play. I could go for hours if I had the time. There is none of the difficult fingerings of Bethoven or the uncomfotable hand positions of some modern compostions. The notes run like water.

A dancing soul
Chopin emotive aspects are captured in this assorted collection of joy and feeling, imagination.Although less deeply than the mazurkas, it renders some expressions of Chopin in a simpler yet more effective way, like C# minor, A minor waltzes
