I have had 6 instructors in my violin-playing life. No one had ever described the best way for ME to position my instrument. This DVD helped me when my instructors did NOT. If you cannot hold the instrument properly, comfortably, you will end up with injuries at some point. How I wish I had learned of this DVD before I developed the permanent injury I have now, due to incorrect hold. Thanks so much Julie!

violin and viola ergonomics
priceless. I have struggled with discomfort holding vola for years and this dvd and the author's book clarify the problem and its solutions like no teacher or guide has done. It should be the basic introduction to all students that have a similar problem as well as to physicians that treat this problem I have often thought that a custom made appliance could be part of the answer and wonder if such is available?
