Great Editon, Great Composition
It is hard to fault the Henle Editions if you don't need any editorial assistance. This is one of Mendelssohns great keyboard compositions. The attractive theme provides the basis for the skillfully wrought variations. For those desirous of more editorial help, the Alfred edition is also to be recommended.
