No Harpsichord Part with this Edition

Read the description of this edition carefully. It is described as "with Harpsichord" but, in fact, has no harpsichord sheet music. Only a synthesized accompaniment CD is provided and, therefore, this edition is not useable for ensemble performance.

A truly enjoyable way to prepare a piece

I have used Music Minus One (MMO) before when learning operatic arias. Challenging sonatas well suited for alto recorder

I'm enjoying working on and playing these very melodious sonatas. On the CD, the works are performed on a transverse flute, but they are well suited to alto recorder. The pieces range in difficulty from medium-easy to medium-difficult, so I could start playing with the recording right away while working...

This title, and the four Sonatas it contains, are a very good choice: one can get into the feeling of this important Baroque composer, Veracini.
