Delightful to learn and perform
The theme is universally known (twinkle stars) but Mozart elevated the variations into musical gems, culminating in a cadenza-like finale. As with other Mozart pieces, it's harder to pull off than it sounds but will reward the student with a much better facility at the piano. This is excellent for those who have completed Beethoven's Fur Elise or a Clementi Sonatina. The layout and print of this particular edition make it friendly for young students.

What FUN!
When ordering music for my piano students I decided to get this for myself as my niece is having her first baby soon and I thought this would be fun to play for them. The theme and variations of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star are fun to listen to and to play. Not as simple as you might think.

Great fun!
A wonderful progression of variations which are just a lot of fun to play - not too taxing, but just enough to keep you thinking - this to me is quintessential Mozart with its playfulness - have fun!

My Kids Love It!!
I bought this because of all the variations on the popular theme. It is fun to play the music and have my kids dance around and listen for the familiar "twinkle, twinkle.." tune.

Good piece - not for beginners
It's a nice piece and fun to play. Some variations are harder than others, but if something is too difficult it can be skipped. It teaches well the theme & variation form, and kids like it because the tune is so recognizable.

Delightful, Fun, Challenging
An adult student of 1 1/2 years, I was able to play the theme easily. Var. 1 & 2 are more challenging, but doable. I bought a copy for my very proficient teacher who enjoyed playing all the variations, finding them interesting and challenging. With her help, I hope to someday play all 12 variations. The cover is lovely. I'm also enjoying The Chopsticks Variations, Margo Guryan, purchased here some time ago.

Five Stars!
This is a great song. The notes are easy to play, but the peice also demands alot of feeling, especially since you can't use the pedal to add 'artificial feeling'.I would give it a rating of five stars. Great for early intermediate players.
