Another Bach Triumph
This is another example of the creativity and genius of the composer. A very witty piece -- who but PDQ would have combined these instruments. Here in the bush, we need a little levity, and this provides it.

Bad even for PDQ Bach
This is bad; just plain bad. Schickele seems to have hoped that hiding behind the excuse of this being PDQ Back, not to be taken seriously, would cover for the bad writing. It doesn't. This is easily among the most clumsy and poorly written pieces of music I've ever played...
