Carl Fruhling (1868-1937) was an Austrian composer. From 1887 until 1889 he studied piano and composition at the Konservatorium of the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Vienna. After finishing his studies, Fruhling remained in Vienna as a piano and composition instructor. Among his unpublished works are a Piano Concerto Opus 12, a Fantasie for Flute and Orchestra Opus 55, orchestral works and a Mass opus 6; also a Serenade for Piano Opus 11, a Piano Quintet Opus 30, numerous songs and piano pieces and a -ballet-pantomime.'.
