A MUST for any Randy fan!
This is by far one of the best transcription books for Randy's playing and kudos to Ozzy for letting these tapes get out to make such a wonderful tribute album. I generally don't like live tab books, but this is the exception. You get to learn much more than just the standard ozzy classics, instead, you get powerful insight into Randy's live playing (which, by the way, produced the standard for every other Ozzy guitarist to follow). This book is good for any intermediate guitarist, or anyone already used to classic Ozzy songs. You'll need a pound and a half of distortion, however, to pull of the sounds. A great book!

a MUST for any fan of Rhoads' style!
If you've ever wanted to play like Randy, this book is an invaluable resource! It's a great practice book, because its jammed with cool licks and riffs that make you work on alternate picking, tapping, wide finger stretches, pinched harmonics, and even fingerpicking with the "Dee" outtakes at the end. The solos, particularly the "Suicide Solution" solo, are definitely a challenge, but certainly attainable if you've worked on your alternate picking and can practice on a daily basis. If you want a rewarding challenge, this book is for you!

Very good
They seem to have crammed more on each page than in the song book and the solos are not on separate pages as some are in the Songbook (which I still recommend though fo the studio versions of Mr Crowley and all the Diary of a madman songs) This book is accurate , and a good choice indeed!

Best Ozzy Tab Book
this book includes some of the hardest material that has ever been made, The suicide solution solo is the best part of the book, definately not for beginners though.

Randy Rhoads is #1!
I am very happy to see that Wolf Marshall took the time to transcribe some of the best guitar riffs and solos of history. Randy Rhoads had a very special talent when it came to writing music. He wrote some extremely difficult songs, and some very beautiful solos. This book will completely improve your guitar skills. Having a book with no mistakes at all is awesome. It makes learning songs a thousand times easier. That's what I love about Wolf Marshall doing this book. This book is not for beginners though. Even an intermediate player will have troubles with this book. I've been playing guitar for three years and this book was a little difficult for me at first. But now I'm getting down a couple of the solos. I'm working on Rhandy's suicide solution solo. But all in all this is a great book that makes playing guitar a lot more fun. And I'm glad to see that Randy Rhoads can live on in at least one way.

Very Good!!!
This book has no mistakes and is great if you love Randy's playing. Remember, all of this stuff is live of the Tribute album. It even includes Randy's improvised guitar solo on suicide solution. If you are a beginner, it's going to be hard, so practice!

This book will depress you.
This book will depress you because when you flip through its pages you see the images and the work of the guitar god that once was. Being a young child in 1982, I don't personally remember Randy's death, but thinking about this guitar titan's untimely demise still depresses me. This is the only book that can truly convey the genius of Randy Rhoads. Taken from his live Tribute album, every scale, squeal, and slide is accurately transcribed. It is a joy to play, especially when you're handling the improvised fills and other riffs. This book is not for beginners. At the same time, it is not so difficult that the intermediate player cannot master it after some hard work. I myself am an intermediate player, and after some hours of practice, the riffs really began to flow.
