        Rachmaninoff "Transcriptions"

        I bought this for one piece, "Liebesfreud." It is a wonderful arrangement of this familiar tune filled with Rachmaninoffian flourishes. Difficulty level is high, but fun to play nevertheless.

        This is quality all the way. Original and readable on heavy bond paper. I was elated with it.

        Awesome music...but...

        Rachmaninoff's transcriptions are truly awesome. But the quality of the engraving is only okay. Pages could be edited to be more easily read. You'll enjoy his transcriptions and we're not likely to get a better edition of these pieces, so...
