Disgrace
They (Publishers) should get Bakerman and Tabs to do this book over so it can be worthy of the band. (They did the 8VM and Systematic Chaos' books amazingly well, even checked over by the man himself, JP.) If you ever see this in a music store, simply just look...

Do not purchase this, PERIOD.
As the first reviewer noted, do NOT buy this book. The transcriptions are just plain WRONG. If you can actually keep up with this band, you should be learning these songs by watching the Live at Budokan DVD instead of this worthless book. I don't know how this was able...

Not bad...But Could Be Better..
Train Of Thought is definately a new direction for Dream Theater but is certainly not a bad one. As far as the transcriptions are concerned, there are many 'clumsy' errors by transcriber Danny Begelman. I haven't come across this guy before, but there are numerous transcribing mistakes throughout the book....

Another master piece
I'm really astonished with some negative opinions about this album. Obviously there are important changes respect previous works, but I think it's a clear sing of a group's developent and matureness. The philosophical lyrics are splendids and the musical work is great, able to lead the listener throughout different frames...
