John Jacobssen (1835-1909) was a Swedish organist and composer who studied with Mankell, Norman and Berwald. He also studied further in Germany and then returned to Stockholm to become organist at the synagogue there. His works include an overture named Sommarminnen, some string chamber music, a cantata for King Oscar's silver wedding in 1882 and some orchestral pieces as well as other chamber music.
