Beautiful but deceiving
This piece, unlike many of Whitacre's compositions, is very simply written. However, its style commands a more advanced performance; otherwise, the full meaning of the text wouldn't be very convincing. This is one of my favorites of his--A truly beautiful work that's worth every second of preparation.

like all pieces by e. whitacre this also is a extraordinary piece of music. the text is a wedding blessing, and the music is wonderfully flowing if done correctly. a nice contrast to the usual bombasto-wedding-music. i only rated it 4 stars because it depends heavily on the setting -...
