The Wild Western Frontier by Soon Hee Newbold. For string orchestra. FJH Beginning Strings. Full set (score and parts). Score only also available: ST6135S. Grade 1.5. Score and set of parts. Composed 2007. Duration 1:35. Published by The FJH Music Company Inc (FJ.ST6135).
From the Great Plains Prairie to the High Sierras, the American Frontier, also known as the Pioneer Days of the Old Wild West, was the time of cowboys, gunslingers, lawmen, exploration, Indians, and rodeos. Famous stories and myths about ghost towns, mountain men, outlaws, and gun battles have graced the big screen and television for generations. In literature and thousands of books to even the western theme parks of today, the Wild Western Frontier is still very much alive. Quarter notes and eighth notes should be short and slightly accented. In contrast, half notes should be held their full value.
