1980's vs 2012
Timeless music. The 2012 edition that I bought is spiral bound, making page turns faster. The fingerings are in dark print. In the 1980's editions, that I own, even the page numbers are the same, but it is hard bound, and light colored fingerings. OK, I guess, if you are...

Book 2 of some of the best keyboard music ever
If you don't like Bach, look elsewhere. However, if you love Bach for his genius, inventiveness and artistry, you would do well to try your hand at this second book of the Well-Tempered Clavier. Adding another 48 preludes and fugues to the awesome Book 1, the Book 2 is even...

A magnificent job
I know Ms. Schneider as a collaborator with Mr. Willard A. Palmer on Book I of the WTC. Book II shows a dedication to the ideal that goes far from the commonly expected. Here, Ms. Schnider has done a superb job of research, editing and correcting his work.
