A must have for weddings
The music is described as medium difficult but I would say it is more of the intermediate level. With not much practice your quartet will sound great and the pieces are good for the pre-ceremony recital. It's a basic book to have for your group.

Utterly dull cello part
I assumed since this is called a Wedding Album that it was intended for professionals, or at least semi-professionals to perform at weddings. However, unless your cellist is a beginner, they will die of boredom playing this, seriously. And glancing over the viola part, it doesn't look too exciting either....

The Wedding Album for String Quartet
Well chosen items very cleverly arranged, as are those in the other two albums in the series. My quartet also uses some of them for reflection in our city's cathedral where they are appreciated for the added dimension they give to the Mass.

perfectly functional
The trio I am in enjoys these pieces very much. I play classical guitar and the other two play flute and violin. We have been creating our own arrangements, combining the cello and viola parts for guitar and the flute and violin alternating the violin I and II parts. The...
