The Teddy Wilson Collection

This an excellent book with accurate transcriptions. The two previous reviews pointed out some errors in (a) tune names and (b) recordings on which the tunes are found. I am still searching for the correct recording from which the tune "I Can't Get Started" was transcribed as it is not...

Great Book! (with a big mistake)

This is a great book if you are interested in Wilson"s interpretations. There is a major mistake in the listing of the songs. The one listed as "Long ago and far away" is actually "This year's kisses". So, I hope Jamie Thom from Toronto sees this review The Actual interpretation...

authentic transcriptions

The transcriptions are authentic and note-for-note as Wilson recorded them. They are rather advanced and you have to be able to stretch a tenth with your left hand to be able to play the pieces fluently. The discography at the beginning accurately lists most of the CDs/recordings upon which the...
