The Stars And Stripes Forever by John Philip Sousa (1854-1932). Arranged by Frank Halferty. For piccolo solo. Piccolo Solo. Grade 4. Published by Kendor Music Inc (KN.10426).
Finally piccolo players of the world can play this famous march excerpt without needing an entire concert band in tow! Perfect as a recital encore or contest showcase, Halferty's solo-with-piano edition is a convincing version of the great Sousa classic for grade 4 players.

It's nice to have the piece arranged as a solo piece for piccolo, but the parts that you really want to play (Trio) are arranged in the highest register, so only your neighborhood dogs are likely to hear and appreciate it. Not exactly how I remember playing it years ago!...

AWESOME
This song is absolutely great. WE played this last year and i was piccolo, so my advice is to practice if you get the solo. Oh and if you are playing it with someone else TUNE! Piccolos are [difficult] to tune so keep it UP1
